I sent in several bug and suggestion reports about fixing this, glad to see them finally do something about it. I thought nerfing pickpocketing was a huge mistake and I'm really happy that Blizzard seems to be ready to do something about fixing it. After over a decade of playing the rogue as a main char I had developed a steady habit of pickpocketing any and every mob that I possibly could, only to lose this habit since the release of Legion. Pickpocketing a measly handful of copper coins is the only issue I've had with the Legion so far. Way better than WoD! Comment by Wanderingfox on T18:51:56-05:00 I really appreciate that it's automatically turned into currency, too. Where was all of this when I was leveling my Rogue :/ Comment by kodora1316 on T17:57:49-05:00 Yeah, gotta give the rogues a mini game so they'll stick to the class after Blizz has done a wonderful job butchering them and making them completely niche with the removal of agonizing poison making the only spec that doesn't rely on RNG trash. WoD's was kinda dull, though, but at least there wasn't much else to do. We'll have to see what's on the vendor, as I'm sure they'll add one. not amused!īut it won't be.It says that instead of the coins taking up bag space, they are automatically converted to the currency. Instead of the item going into your inventory however, you'll automatically receive Coins of Air instead. With the lamp in your inventory, you'll pickpocket special treasures from Broken Isles mobs. Quintessence from WarcraftPets also pointed out that there are several pickpocketing pets, Dig Rat and Sneaky Marmot, which could also be related.Įdit: in the next build, rewards were added! Check them out here.
#WOW PICKPOCKET LEGION PATCH#
We've speculated that Electrified Compression Shirt, also added in Patch 7.2.5 data, could be a reward from Coins of Air since it matches the electric theme of Al'Abas. With this upgraded lamp, you'll loot multiple charms at once when you pickpocket, earning Coins of Air faster.Īt this time, there appear to be no vendor items sold for Coins of Air, simply a turn-in for gold. As thanks for acquiring these items, you'll get Gleaming Lamp of Al'Abas. These items are: Manaforged Worry-Chain, Managraphic Card, Elegant Manabraid, Subtle Chronometer, Glitzy Mana-Chain, and Locket of Magical Memories.

#WOW PICKPOCKET LEGION SERIES#
This quest series is available to Rogue players that are level 100 and up: This currency is similar to the Dingy Iron Coins added in Warlords of Draenor. A new series of pickpocketing quests is coming for Rogues in Patch 7.2.5! Griftah and Al'Abas have teamed up to allow Rogues to acquire Coins of Air from pickpocketing mobs in the Broken Isles.
